Where to this time? Those of you who followed D2 and I on our Camino adventures will know that there is a section we didn’t walk because of the size and multitude of blisters on my feet. It was only about 40km, and in the Camino universe a mere speck. But it is still virgin Camino territory to us and we made a pact to finish it one day. And that one day has come! Training for 40 kms may seem extreme, but we thought, why do 40 kms when you could just as easily do the whole lot again. Why not!! So come the 21st April D2 and I will be pilgrims once more, and this time D1 will be coming with us. (For those who may have wondered I have designated my daughters in order of birth, even though there is only a minute between D1 and D2)
9 weeks and a bit to go, and of course I have devoted myself to training, tramping the streets in my boots, pounding on the treadmill on level 15 in order to tackle the Pyrenees, my pack has become a permanent fixture to my back…..NOT!!
I have done quite a bit of beach walking and the girls and I have done a couple of long walks.

This morning I looked at my Dreamdays app and there it is, 65 days to go!!
Let the training begin…really….I’m not kidding…seriously…tomorrow morning…..
Today! Let the training intensify. You will thank yourself later.
I am delighted that you are doing this again. I am sure that this time you will take notes on inns, medical facilities, restaurants, and other amenities that you can utilize for your tour company.
Love.
