On a cold and wet day what else is there to do but find a cosy restaurant and have a long lazy lunch. Join us at Eslava for a delicious meal of tapas.

So many choices and they all look delicious

Deep fried anchovies, crisp and crunchy and tasted of the sea

Stewed beef tripe, I was apprehensive but it was yum!

Duck fillet with a wine pear sauce and cheese bread, duck was perfectly cooked.

Tenderloin with blue cheese sauce, mild and creamy but tasty.

Roasted pork ribs with rosemary honey glaze, succulent and sticky, a bit too sweet.

Black pudding with caramel onions, had the look and texture of a dirty washing up sponge, tasted ok, but hard to get past the look!

Gazpacho soup, delicious, and yes we had it in this order!

and last but certainly not least, orange flavored, chocolate mousse, enjoyed by us both, even though someone didn’t want dessert

All in all, a yummy way to spend a rainy afternoon!
